— Rick,
I was glad that you answered the phone. I know I made a good choice choosing you as my broker and applying with Blue Cross Blue Shield of Arizona. The more I think about it, the more I want to be with a company that has widespread recognition and is everywhere. So thanks again for everything!

There have been many changes lately regarding Arizona health insurance, some good, some not.  Some of these changes are in response to new federal mandates included in the Affordable Care Act, (ObamaCare,) and some have been in the works for quite a long time, and finally coming to fruition.

Parents can now keep dependent children on their policy up to the age of 26. Blue Cross and Blue Shield of Arizona, www.higginscompanies.com already allows adult children up to the age of 30 on their Grandfather and Grandmother individual and family plans, and the dependent need not be a full-time student.

Arizona awaits major changes with the ACA. Without major changes, soon, it is likely that Arizona residents in the individual and family market will find that there are no insurance companies offering coverage in 2018.
